    The TAP REPORT for CVBs

Provides vital strategic data for convention bureaus around the U.S. and Canada, benchmarking and measuring performance, pace, peer set metrics nationally and regionally, and provides consultation services to destinations and their CVB leadership.

    ACCURACY

The TAP REPORT builds from a long history of data from a diverse set of cooperating organizations.  The mix of depth and breadth has refined the TAP REPORT forecast models to improve accuracy.  Further, the length of time organizations have been using the TAP REPORT has illustrated the accuracy of the forecasts.  No other data provider has the history and breadth of data to offer a comparable forecast model and that is why the TAP REPORT is trusted by the industry.

    How does it work?

Over 70 North American DMOs and CVBs submit a data file to the TAP REPORT team each month.  The TAP REPORT team cleans, standardizes and structures the data submissions.  The data is uploaded into the the TAP REPORT's proprietary predicitve model and forecasts are generated for each organization.

Can I compare my forecast to others?

Because of the large number of cooperating organizations, the TAP REPORT can produce an anonymous peer set to enable organizations to benchmark their forecasts against a peer set.  This is a helpful tool to guage performance and understand broad industry trends.  Specific comparisons between organizations is not permitted but peer benchmarks have proven to be very valuable to cooperating organizations.
