Strategic Data Resources' mission is to provide convention and visitors bureaus empirical data to make well informed strategic sales and marketing decisions. SDR is the only company providing forward-looking market data to the hospitality industry. SDR collects monthly data downloads from 70 convention bureaus and 130 hotels that includes room night patterns on 300 million room nights in past demand as well as 300 million room nights in future demand.. The information included in the TAP Report package allows the convention bureau, hotels, and convention center to strategically position future convention bids. Bureau members utilize Strategic Data Resources products to develop and measure their own sales and marketing strategies. Regional and National trend information is also available as needed.

Jeff Eastman, President & CEO
Jeff has been in the industry for 30 years. He has directed the sales and marketing efforts for major convention hotels such as the Sheraton Washington Hotel (now the Marriott Wardman Park), the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers, and the Westin Crown Center Hotel. Prior to forming TAP in 2004 he served as the Senior Vice President of the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Greater Kansas City. In that role he was instrumental in the successful campaign to expand the Kansas City Convention Center. Mr. Eastman has received numerous awards for sales excellence.
Mr. Eastman is nationally recognized as a travel industry expert. He has done numerous presentations to convention bureau boards, convention sales committees, and other stakeholders. For the past three years he has been invited to speak at the annual conventions of the American Society of Association Executives, Convention Sales Professionals International, and Destination Marketing Association International. He has also spoken at numerous regional American Hotel Association conferences.

Jeanne Lussier Eastman , VP of Business Development
Jeanne came to SDR with 27 years of hotel group and convention sales experience. Starting in Los Angeles at the Westin Bonaventure, Jeanne found her way to Reno, NV working with the 1200-room Reno Nugget, was Director of National Sales at the 1,800 room Silver Legacy as it expanded, Executive Director of Sales at the 2,000 room Reno Hilton and then VP of Sales as the hotel transitioned to the Grand Sierra and its major transformation. Jeanne has extensive sales experience and managing major Group/Convention and Leisure sales teams in both corporate and independent environments, in gaming and non-gaming destinations. Her diverse background in hospitality sales and marketing includes representation of corporate and independent hotel products, revenue management, strategic marketing and team development. As VP of Business Development for The TAP Report, she has a strong understanding of hotel needs, systems and goals, developing hotel client reports, tailoring them to hotel and destination needs.

Rick Hughes, VP of Strategic Planning
Rick's 35 year extensive senior level hospitality and tourism career involved some 14 sales and marketing appointments across four reputable industry organizations. His key managerial responsibilities embraced hotel sales, corporate and regional level marketing as well as destination marketing and management. He recently retired from the Kansas City (MO) Convention & Visitors Association after 10+ years as President /CEO, while previously was Executive Vice-President/COO at the Indianapolis (IN) Convention & Visitors Association for some 11 years. Prior to this position, he worked at Marriott Corporation for 14 years in marketing and sales in field, corporate and regional appointments. Active with DMAI, he has served on the Board of Directors Executive Committee and is an ongoing CDME faculty member and course moderator. As part of Purdue University extension, he was also a tourism and convention sales advisor and instructor to the Hangzhou (China) Tourism Commission.
